Reference books are valuable resources for teachers and students. If a school can afford to have a good collection of books, they can be of benefit to students. Public libraries are also a good source. Selecting reference books is much the same as selecting a textbook – they are for complementing and further extending the content of textbooks, to enable students to make connections and gain a better understanding.
